9/11 was a day that will live in infamy. Those who were alive and remember all have a story to tell about that day. When they heard. Where they were. Who they were with. Join a Ranger for a special tour of the Sandy Hook Lighthouse where we traverse the 95 steps of the lighthouse while telling stories from that day. By the time you reach the top, you will have looked at the New York City skyline where the twin towers once stood through three lenses – remembrance, reflection, and one which has stood through American history. 95 steps to the watch room and a 9-rung ladder into lens room. Must be 48 inches or more in height. Wear clothes and comfortable shoes for lighthouse climbing. Expect to climb and stand during the duration of the lighthouse tour. 8 people maximum.
