Join Rahway River Watershed Association Board member Jordan Parham explore this small patch of restored freshwater wetlands and pin oak forest in order to find and identify seasonably abundant migratory songbirds. We can expect to see species such as Scarlet Tanager, American Redstart, Black Throated Blue Warbler, and the gorgeous Baltimore Orioles that breed in the preserve.
Things to bring
Binoculars, field guide, a camera, waterproof boots or shoes, long pants, and weather appropriate clothing
Rain or shine
Event canceled if inclement weather is expected
Registration required
Limited to 25 people
Register early & please do us the courtesy of canceling if you cannot attend to make room for others
