4. Go thrifting!
National Thrift Shop Day is August 17th. Stock up on school clothes and get something fun for yourself.
5. Feast on a sandwiches
It's National Sandwich Month and, in our opinion, there's nothing better than a hearty sandwich for lunch. Go to your favorite, local sandwich shop and purchase delicious meals for the day! How about a Grown Up Grilled Cheese
6. Ride a roller coaster
Kids never say no to amusement parks! Surprise them with a trip to celebrate National Roller Coaster Day on August 16th. How many times can they ride the fastest roller coaster?

7. Go geocaching!
