I love Christmas! I especially love all the little ways you can make Christmas even more magical for your little macaronis. I just couldn't resist sharing some of my favorites:
Adopt a special elf today and begin or continue your family tradition. This magical and sneaky little elf receives his elf name by your family and then has the magic needed to fly to the North Pole each and every night while all the girls and boys are sound asleep! While there he reports to Santa on all the naughty and nice happenings during the day and flies back to hide in a different location just in time for your little macaroni's to wake up each morning. Our elf usually appears the day after Thanksgiving and begins his shenanigans until Christmas Morning. I have so much fun with this and my son gets a kick out of all the wild and crazy things our elf does!
Santa's Official Reindeer Live Feed! Last year my son just loved checking in on Santa's reindeer through this magical live feed. Tune in at any time during the day and see what Santa's reindeer are up to. If you tune in at 11am, 6pm, and 9pm you can even catch Santa and his elf friends feeding the reindeer. Santa add's a bit of magic throughout the weeks leading up to Christmas. There is even a rolling "Nice List" where kids can check for their names.
The Pajama Elves is a story about the special elves at the North Pole who sew Pajamas with magical string that help children to sleep soundly on Christmas Eve. We love reading this book and receiving our "Special Delivery" straight from the North Pole (sometimes our elf delivers) of extra special Christmas Pajamas to wear on Christmas Eve!
Visit Sealed by Santa to pick out memorable packages starting at $10. Each child can receive an authentic, certified, and personal letter from Santa! All letters are postmarked from the North Pole and include Magical Reindeer Food. The personalization made my son's letter last year extra special - the look on his face was priceless!
Beginning December 1st the Norad Santa Tracker begins it's official countdown to Santa's Launch! On Christmas Eve, children can tune in with excitement as they track Santa Claus leaving the North Pole and delivering presents to children all around the world.
Send your child a personalized video message from Santa. We have done this every year now and it is one-of-a-kind. My son is always in shock when Santa opens his "Nice List" book and he sees a picture of himself, or when Santa actually says his name and even knows what he wants for Christmas! The best part is that it's FREE
Create proof that Santa was at your house! In 3 easy steps and for under $10, you can turn a typical picture taken in your house into one with Santa caught in the act! He can be by the Christmas tree, coming down the chimney, eating milk and cookies, etc.
Rent them, pop in the DVD or catch them on TV! Click on the link for a great list of Holiday Movies.
Leave Signs That Santa Visited:
Last year I cut a sponge in the shape of a reindeer hoof and used brown washable paint to make hoof prints on the walkway right where my son had sprinkled the "reindeer food". When he went out to see if the reindeer ate their food, he couldn't believe his eyes. He was also in awe when he found a bell that must have fallen off of the sleigh!
Make Christmas Cookies:
Pick a day, a night, or even just an hour to turn off the TV, put away the electronics, turn on the Christmas carols and spend some priceless moments together decorating sugar cookies.
Countdown to Christmas:
Start your own family countdown to Christmas, from a simple cotton ball craft to a book a day. Get an Advent Calendar or do a Reverse Advent Calendar.
